an interpreted language system for Visual Computing

ViSlang is an interpreted domain-specific language system for visual computing. It just-in-time compiles special purpose DSLs and immediately executes the programs on the GPU. ViSlang is a research prototype and we are currently looking for people to test it and provide us with feedback.

To start developing your parallel program download the lastest version. The bundled binary contains ViSlang and Volumeshop, which is required to render computed results. Currently, ViSlang is only available for Windows 64-bit and solely tested with NVIDIA hardware.

How to get started with a new session and how to load tutorials is described in the Getting Started section. Detailed information about the syntax of the language is available in the documentation. The different DSLs are described in the Slangs section."
